...for a box in Sedalia today and was planning on playing this:

4 Putrid Leach
4 Sprouting Thrinax
4 Bloodbraid Elf
4 Broodmate Dragon

4 Terminate
4 Blightning
4 Maelstrom Pulse
4 Bituminous Blast
1 Resounding Thunder
1 Slave of Bolas

4 Savage Lands
4 Crumbling Necropolis
4 Jund Panorama
4 Swamp
5 Forest
5 Mountain

Sideboards up in the air. I want more Slave of Bolas', some of those GR Viridian Shamans, and probably some Jund Charms. I figured this would be a good place to start since it can just go bigger than the other guy in the Jund mirror and still has all the strengths those decks have against other things, even though it's a little slower.

I've tried Hackblades and Slaughtermasters in a quicker version, but too often my cascades just get me borderposts. Anyways, thoughts? Sideboard help?

Maybe it's not as useful in block as I would think, but what about Fallout? At least in the SB. Lavalanche seems like it could be good too.

I'm not sure about the Pyros in block. I looked online at the most recent block tourney and the entire top-8 was medium sized green creature decks and neither Jund Charm or Infest or Fallout would hit much of anything. I'm probaly putting four Charms in the SB because they're just really flexible, but with how eveyrthing looks now it's just big green things and awkward 5CC decks with Wall of Denials and stuff.

And borderposts were the only things that made that deck good! Hackblades awful without them.

The Thrinaxes are for the mirror, I guess. They gum up the board long enough to let you start dropping Dragons, which just outclass everything they do.

Yeah, this thing really mauled the mirror. It was a soft field, four or five other real decks. I beat some random Grixis stuff round one, my friend with a solid Esper control deck round two, the mirror round three, and then a goofy GW exalted deck round four. Top 8 was just the mirror, Esper aggro, and then the same damn GW exalted deck. I dropped one game all day, and the deck was just awesome. Sideboard was:

4 Vithian Renegades
4 Jund Charm
2 Filigizzle Fracture
2 Thought Hem.
2 Slave of Bolas
1 Karthus, Dragon Tryant
