Does this follow the standard duel method of normal arena leagues, or are there multiplayer games too?

To celebrate the 100th season of ARENA sponsored by the Fantasy Shop we are hosting a 100 card format – Elder Dragon Highlander.

Multiplayer games are encouraged, but duels are allowed.

Scoring is as follows.

The winner of the match gets points equal to the number of players plus 1 – so if you win a game with 5 players you will receive 6 points.

Each other player in the game receives points corresponding to when they were eliminated. 1st player out receives 1 point, 2nd player out receives 2 points, and so forth. In the case of 2 or more players being eliminated at the same time higher number is used. (2nd and 3rd players eliminated simultaneously would each receive 3 points.)

good times last night. i played in a 4 player and a 6 player game.

here's some of the epic plays i can remember..

i played eternity vessel with 76 counters, next turn played test of endurance + armageddon ftw

earlier in the game..
player 1 played storm herd for 30+ tokens, player 2 played twincast to get 20+ of his own, next turn player 3 then plays martial coup to kill all creatures, while player 4 has a deathgreeter out to gain 70+ life.

brian also had a slaughter pact kill, though i dont remember the exact sequence..

note to self: put vampire hexmage in my black deck

Arggh, wish I could have been there. Sounds like a great time. I can't be there next week due to cub scouts, but I will try to make it on the 24th.

I was playing my red/green/white good stuff deck with some random invasion dragon that makes saprolings as a general.

Bill played some enchantment that gave all creatures deathtouch, which was promptly Pact of Negationed by Matt, who had 3 lands (after sacing a whole bunch of islands due to Wrath of Marit Lage hitting play) and a sol ring in play. I disenchanted Matt's sol ring for the kill.

Then proceeded to kill everyone else at the table with a chameleon colossus with a behemoth's sledge and a Bogardan Hellkite.

i might be out again tonight after dinner 7ish if the pregnant wife lets me

this weeks was really fun...even tho it was a 4 hour game that nobody died in

i think at the end of the game the wrath count was up to around 13 and 1 armageddon

yea good times. i know i still had 2 wraths left in my deck after using 5 or so

i hadnt seen any of my non creature wrath variants so i know i had atleast 4 left...only two i saw were false prophet and white myojin
