I'd say that cube is definitely my favorite MTG format, easily. For those who haven't cubed, imagine a format where you have things like Moxen and it's perfectly understandable to pass them.
Fully powered, no Un-cards or errata-ed cards like LaPille does with Chaos Orb and the like. Basic lands are snow, although the only card that cares about that is Skred.
Multicolor:
UBW (Esper): Enigma Sphinx Getting a counterspell on this guy would be the worst cascade ever and its body isn't great, but I think that it could be worth a shot. It has pseudo protection with its library ability too, helping its resilience and it's a Tinker target, with that card now in. BUR (Grixis): Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker. Speaking of reusable effects... Costs a ton of mana but in my limited testing, most of the time means game over once he drops. GUW (Bant): Rafiq of the Many GRW (Naya): Wild Nacatl. I'm not as sure on Naya Charm (the deal 3 is a bad deal for cube, although its 'tap all' creatures is insane.) GRB (Jund): Broodmate Dragon. One of the best finishers. (8 power of flying for 6 mana)
Red-Green :
Kird Ape: See above, blah blah blah. Aside from that, a R for a 2/3 in RG is insane. Stormbind: To be honest, I haven't seen this getting much love. Still, most of the time, it pitches lands which Knollspine Invocation couldn't do. Bloodbraid Elf Sarkhan Vol: I think that while it's the weakest of the planeswalkers in my cube (I don't have Tezzeret as it is way too linear) it is still solid. Mainly for its fires ability, though the Threatening is nice. Giant Solifuge*
Red-Black :
Murderous Redcap* Fulminator Mage* Terminate: 2 mana to kill anything unless it's got protection, rock solid removal. Bituminous Blast Blazing Specter
Black-Blue
Oona, Queen of the Fae* Dimir Guildmage* Shadowmage Infiltrator: Psychatog: Duuuuh. Undermine: Like getting kicked in the teeth, losing your spell and 3 life. Ow.
Blue-White
Azorius Guildmage* Momentary Blink Dismantling Blow: An attempt to give other colors than green some artifact/enchantment hate. It's worked wonderfully even as a "blow up my signet, Inspiration." Grand Arbiter Augustin IV Absorb: Awfully nice for UW control decks.
White-Green
Kitchen Finks* Wilt-Leaf Liege* Loxodon Hierarch Glare of Subdual Mirari's Wake
Red-White
Figure of Destiny* Duergar Hedge-Mage* Lightning Helix: Omggggggggggggggggggggggggggg Helix Brion Stoutarm Ajani Vengeant
Black-White
Tidehollow Sculler: Mesmeric Fiend 2.0, aww yeah. Mortify Vindicate Desolation Angel Debtors Knell*
Black-Green
Putrid Leech Putrefy Pernicious Deed Maelstrom Pulse Spiritmonger
Blue-Green
Plaxcaster Frogling Mystic Snake Trygon Predator Simic Sky Swallower Snakeform*
Blue-Red :
Electrolyze Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind Prophetic Bolt Gelectrode Fire/Ice*
*denotes hybrid.
Artifacts:
((0)) 5 Alpha/Beta/Unlimited Moxen (Mox Ruby) Black Lotus Mox Diamond Mana Crypt
((1)) Bonesplitter Cursed Scroll Skullclamp Sensei's Divining Top Sol Ring Mana Vault
((2)) Grim Monolith Scroll Rack Umezawa's Jitte Lightning Greaves: An all-star in aggro and control for different reasons (haste for aggro, shroud for control,) great all-around. Winter Orb Mind Stone Ankh of Mishra 10 Ravnica Signets. (Orzhov Signet)
((33)) Coalition Relic Oblivion Stone Tangle Wire: I haven't seen this in that many cubes, but it's so unfair for your opponent (they tap 4, you tap 2 other permanents.) Amazing in aggro. Loxodon Warhammer Sword of Light and Shadow Sword of Fire and Ice
((4)) Nevinyrral's Disk Phyrexian Processor Icy Manipulator Smokestack Another card that I've not seen in many cubes and is similarly unfair, great with token generators, and putting a lock onto an opponent who is starting slowly.
((5)) Memory Jar
((6)) Mindslaver Obelisk of Alara The only thing that, for now, worries me is that for 6 mana, it doesn't do anything immediate until its first activation, but I think the fact that it has reusable effects is nice, although strangely I think that the blue ability is the worst out of them (I think the gain 5 life could be pretty powerful in control, red's ability to repeatedly dome players for 3, green's ability to mess with combat math and black's ability to not only make combat math hard as well, but kill marquee small creatures is nice.) ((X)) Sigil of Distinction: Every creature becomes a "must kill" after you get this out for a decent amount.
~~~~
((3)) Chimeric Idol: For those who are cube newbies, this card is insane in aggro, especially if you curve out, then you have to modify your gameplay (play spells before attacking, animate Chimeric Idol.) Impervious to sorcery speed removal and many enchantments.
((4)) Masticore Solemn Simulacrum
((6)) Duplicant
((8)) Sundering Titan: This card demolishes 5 color decks hard.
Land:
10 Revised Dual lands (Tundra) 10 "Karoo" Ravnica lands (Izzet Boilerworks) 10 Ravnica Dual lands (Temple Garden) 5 Onslaught Fetchlands (Flooded Strand)
Shelldock Isle Barbarian Ring Treetop Village Volrath's Stronghold Kjeldoran Outpost
City of Brass Library of Alexandria Ancient Tomb Maze of Ith Mutavault Mishra's Factory Thawing Glaciers - "free" mana fixing. Amazing in control decks, but good in aggro for thinning your deck out. Strip Mine Wasteland Rishadan Port
White:
Creatures:
((1)) Mother of Runes Isamaru, Hound of Konda Savannah Lions Weathered Wayfarer Elite Vanguard
((2)) Knight of the White Orchid Soltari Trooper Soltari Priest Soltari Monk Eight-and-a-Half Tails Blade of the Sixth Pride Whipcorder Knight of Meadowgrain
((3)) Mirror Entity Pianna, Nomad Captain A 3/3 attacker for 3, also buffs other attackers. Spectral Procession Exalted Angel Soltari Champion Another "anthem on a guy" - this on a 2/2 shadow guy.
((4)) Calciderm Academy Rector
((5)) Reveillark Cloudgoat Ranger: Although it seems suboptimal at first glance, it's quite good. 6 power for 3WW and can be a mini dragon if need be. There are a few kithkin as well (Augury Adept, Changelings.)
((6)) Yosei, the Morning Star
((7)) Eternal Dragon
((8)) Akroma, Angel of Wrath
Non-creatures:
((0)) Shining Shoal
((1)) Land Tax Enlightened Tutor Swords to Plowshares Path to Exile
((2)) Temporal Isolation Already good as an instant speed Pacifism, but better without damage on the stack shenanigans. Balance Seal of Cleansing Disenchant
((3)) Prison Term Oblivion Ring Scepter of Dominance Glorious Anthem
((4)) Armageddon Ravages of War Thanks mainly to Elite Vanguard, I'm putting in the "duplicate" cards. Faith's Fetters Wrath of God Parallax Wave Ajani Goldmane Elspeth, Knight-Errant
((5)) Miraculous Recovery: (best Zombify ever.)
((6)) Catastrophe Akroma's Vengeance
((X)) Decree of Justice Martial Coup
Blue:
Creatures:
((2)) Looter Il-Kor Jushi Apprentice
((3)) Kira, Great Glass Spinner Vendilion Clique Man-o'-War Serendib Efreet Willbender Vesuvan Shapeshifter
((4)) Glen Elendra Archmage Venser, Shaper Savant Lu Xun, Scholar General Sower of Temptation
((5)) Mulldrifter Meloku Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir Morphling
((6)) Keiga, the Tide Star Draining Whelk
((X)) Aeon Chronicler
Non-Creatures:
((0)) Force of Will
((1)) Ancestral Recall Ancestral Vision Brainstorm Mystical Tutor
((2)) Mana Drain Counterspell Impulse Time Walk Miscalculation ((In over Mana Leak because, most of the time, the payment is as good as the and can cycle late game when everyone's got more than enough mana.)) Remand Condescend
((3)) Crystal Shard Vedalken Shackles Capsize Forbid Jace Beleren Timetwister Psionic Blast Tinker
((4)) Dismiss Cryptic Command Gifts Ungiven Fact or Fiction Control Magic Opposition Deep Analysis
((5)) Treachery Future Sight Tom Lapille said it was the most powerful card in his cube (unpowered.) I can totally agree, it provides so much card advantage that if it wasn't triple-, I'd try to splash it in every aggro deck ever.
((6)) Upheaval
((X)) Stroke of Genius
Black:
Creatures:
((1)) Carnophage Sarcomancy
((2)) Dark Confidant Nezumi Shortfang Nezumi Graverobber Nantuko Shade Dauthi Horror Oona's Prowler Bitterblossom Black Knight Skittering Skirge Looks to be good in B/X aggro and control.
((3)) Silent Specter Hypnotic Specter Bane of the Living Bone Shredder
((4)) Juzam Djinn: I had him in instead of Plague Sliver because it combines better with clone effects. (2 damage during upkeep vs 4.) Ashling, the Extinguisher Graveborn Muse Phyrexian Scuta Braids, Cabal Minion
((5)) Shriekmaw Ink-Eyes: Worth its mana weight in gold, quite the surprise and even better in the late game when threats are in the grave. Steal your evoked Reveillark? Sure!
((6)) Kokosho, the Evening Star
((8)) Tombstalker To be honest, I don't know how many cards it typically "delves" when cast.
Non-Creatures: ((0)) Snuff Out
((1)) Dark Ritual Vampiric Tutor Thoughtseize Duress Reanimate
((2)) Hymn to Tourach Demonic Tutor Animate Dead Diabolic Edict Chainer's Edict: I think this actually may be better than Diabolic due to the flashback, even though it's a sorcery. Night's Whisper Sign in Blood Sinkhole
((3)) Phyrexian Arena Yawgmoth's Will Slaughter Pact Recurring Nightmare
((4)) Nether Void: Get out a threat, drop this, win. It's like a black Armageddon and can punish Signet-heavy opponents. Damnation Makeshift Mannequin
((5)) Liliana Vess Decree of Pain
((6)) Yawgmoth's Bargain
((X)) Mind Twist Profane Command
Red:
Creatures: ((1)) Grim Lavamancer Magus of the Scroll Mogg Fanatic Greater Gargadon Jackal Pup Goblin Patrol
((2)) Orcish Settlers Hearth Kami Slith Firewalker Keldon Marauders Fireslinger Dwarven Blastminer Blood Knight
((3)) Countryside Crusher Jaya Ballard, Task Mage Akroma, Angel of Fury Hell's Thunder
((4)) Rakka Mar I think of it as akin to an Imperious Perfect, can get very ugly if an opponent doesn't deal with it. Blistering Firecat Flametongue Kavu Avalanche Riders Keldon Champion
((5)) Kiki-Jiki Thunderblust Siege-Gang Commander Kumano, Master Yamabushi
((6)) Rorix Bladewing Flameblast Dragon
((8)) Bogardan Hellkite
Non-Creatures:
((0)) Fireblast
((1)) Firebolt Lightning Bolt Chain Lightning Skred Seal of Fire
((2)) Magma Jet Incinerate Smash to Smithereens: Anti-artifact hate that goes along with red's ideology that burn to the face is always good, which it definitely is. Kind of like a Flame Jet that requires the opponent to have an artifact, which they usually do, even if it's just a random signet.
((3)) Wheel of Fortune Char Flame Javelin Pillage Hammer of Bogardan Molten Rain LD and burn to the face? Score! Sulfuric Vortex
((5)) Chandra Nalaar
((6)) Wildfire
((X)) Banefire Rolling Earthquake Demonfire
